Environmental Policy

As a specialist paper supplier to the UK publishing industry we accept that we have a responsibility to demonstrate good practice in matters that affect our environment.

We are committed to playing our role, which is demonstrated by the fact that we are both FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme For The Endorsement Of Forestry Certification) accredited.

Over and above these initiatives, we will always strive to:-

• ensure all of our manufacturers meet or exceed their national environmental regulations
• offer a recycled option, at least every six months, to every client via our Paper Health Check initiative
• regularly evaluate our policy and adapt it in light of technological advances or new understandings in environmental science
• constantly adapt and update our own Paper Management System to encourage a reduction in unnecessary usage or waste
• ensure that all clients are aware of the distance that their paper travels, between mill and printer, via our Paper Workshop web-site.
